Valfrance strengthens territorial dialogue

As part of its CSR approach and its commitment as a mission-driven company, Valfrance, true to its cooperative DNA, organized the second edition of its “Mayors’ Days.” This initiative is designed to bring the agricultural world closer to local stakeholders and to foster a better mutual understanding of the region’s challenges.

Following a first edition held in June 2025 at the Senlis site, the cooperative chose to repeat the experience this year by opening the doors of two of its strategic sites: the Verneuil-l’Étang silo on June 1 and the Marcilly silo on June 8.

Local stakeholders united around a common goal

The event was once again a success. More than twenty participants took part in each of these meetings, including mayors, deputy mayors, municipal councilors, representatives of communities of municipalities, banking partners, as well as several major economic players in the region, including TotalEnergies.

At the heart of the Mayors’ Days

On the agenda: discovering the facilities, presenting how an agricultural silo operates, discussing the challenges facing the sector, and holding dialogue sessions with the cooperative’s teams. This hands-on immersion into the daily reality of agriculture enabled participants to better understand the realities on the ground and the challenges faced by farmers.

Strengthening ties between agriculture and local communities

“The role of a cooperative is not limited to supporting its members in their agricultural activities. We also have a responsibility to contribute to the life of our local communities and to build bridges between the various stakeholders who bring them to life. These meetings are essential to fostering mutual understanding and building lasting relationships,” Valfrance emphasizes.

An initiative driven by the SENS vision

Through this initiative, Valfrance illustrates the momentum driven by SENS, its new strategic identity. This vision connects purpose, commitments, and field actions around a shared ambition: to support agricultural, environmental, and societal transitions while creating lasting value for its members and its region. True to its cooperative model, Valfrance thus seeks to give meaning to each of its actions and to contribute, alongside all of its stakeholders, to building the agriculture and local communities of tomorrow.
